Caribbean 600 Mocra Winner - Tosca Gunboat 68

Forecast was looking light from a week out from the race and everyone was dreading a drifterthon. However the wind gods came in and gave us some perfect winds. Start was squally and gusting 28kts and average around the course must have been 20's. This meant we could really lean on the boat with the great crew we had onboard. Alex Thomson was skipper, Neil McDonald was aft trim, Wouter navigating, Dave Thomson on bow, Mikey and Scotty in Pit, Canta mid bow, Adam on technical and I was on main trim and trav. Main trim and trav had a big work out during the race with gusty conditions and hull flying conditions it meant we were working them constantly. Lotty was cooking us some nice food onboard too.

It was a great race and good cals were made on nav plus the boat was sailed fast. We pulled in with a win in Mocra and a very happy team!
