Back in Canet via Port Vendres

We left Malta on the 25th October headed for France.

Great conditions alll the way up from Malta. Southerly breeze and absolutely flat sea. Just perfect for eating up the miles.

Due to big swell from the the East in the strong E breeze up in france we decided to duck into Port Vendres for a night. The bigger harbour entrance makes for an easier arrival. As predicted we had 27kts of breeze on the beam and big swell from the East and South East apon arrival into gulf of lion. good decision on the destination port.
